Pray for Samuel (as he lives out his Eurocentric-outdated-inane existence).

The purpose of this blog is to build up an army of prayer warriors who will lift me up as I minister in Taiwan. I am planning on posting requests once weekly. I'm asking y'all to please take time in your devotions to bring these requests before the Father and ask Him to work His will in each situation.

Hello, and welcome to the first post on my new prayer blog! The purpose of this blog is to build up an army of prayer warriors who will lift me up as I minister in Taiwan. I am planning on posting requests once weekly (not sure what day of the week yet: for now we'll assume Sunday). I'm asking y'all to please take time in your devotions to bring these requests before the Father and ask Him to work His will in each situation. I have seen the power of having a strong stateside prayer team, and I really think that the success of my ministry will have a lot to do with y'all.

Anyway, here's this week's requests!

---I'm starting to get nervous about my visa application. As far as I know, the International Dept. at IBLP hasn't even sent it off yet. I don't know how long these things normally take, but I would feel better knowing that we've got some time to work with. Scenes from The Terminal keep flashing through my head...

---King Car still hasn't figured out what's going to happen next semester on Kinmen. They're thinking they will put three teachers in Jr. High and because of the way things are working out, we're really praying that I'm one of them.

---I had part of my toenail removed Wednesday afternoon. I know this isn't really related to going to Taiwan, but I will be fighting at the black belt testing next Saturday (no I'm not testing for black, just helping) and I really would like for it to be healed enough by then for me to kick!

---I really need to figure out what to do with my car. Pray that God would arrange something!

---Pray that God would go before me and prepare the hearts of the people I will be working with. Pray that they will be open to the Gospel.

---Pray that God would keep my heart in the right place and my focus on Him.
